Board-Mount Packages for AC-DC Power Supplies Announced by CUI Power Group

CUI’s Power Group has announced the release of four AC-DC power supplies in board-mount packages. These power supplies are notable for their small size, low-load efficiency, and board-mount packages.
The VOF-6B, VOF-10B, VOF-15B, and VOF-20B accept 85 to 264 VAC input and supply 6, 10, 15, and 20 W of continuous power, respectively. All four series have models available that offer output voltages of 5, 9, 12, 15, and 24 VDC. The VOF-15 and VOF-20 series each have an additional model offering 48 VDC output.

The minimum MTBF for each model is 300,000 hours at 115 VAC and +25°C ambient temperature, calculated in accordance with the Military Handbook for “Reliability Prediction of Electronic Equipment” (MIL-HDBK-217F).
The power supplies are joining the VOF family of products, which features power supplies between 6 and 300 W.
CUI suggests that these power supplies might find use in smart home, industrial, or low-power information-technology applications.
