This innovation, part of the Series 2 platform, is designed to simplify the development and certification process for IoT devices. By offering pre-certification for global regulatory compliance and featuring an optimized antenna, these modules eliminate the complexities of RF optimization and certification, enabling manufacturers to reduce development time and costs.

The SiWx917Y modules are compact (16 x 21 x 2.3 mm) yet packed with advanced capabilities, making them ideal for IoT applications like smart homes, healthcare, industrial sensors, and asset tracking.
- Ultra-Low-Power Wi-Fi 6:
- Incorporates intelligent power management for connected sleep mode, achieving just 20μA current using Target Wake Time (TWT) and a 60-second keep-alive interval, enabling multi-year battery life for devices like smart locks and thermostats.
- Dual-Core Architecture:
- Features an ARM Cortex-M4 application processor and a wireless network processor for robust and efficient operation.
- Support for the Matter Protocol:
- Ensures compatibility with the Matter standard over Wi-Fi, simplifying interoperability across smart devices.
- Pre-Certifications:

- Offers two operational modes:
- SiWG917Y for SoC Mode: Applications run directly on the module.
- SiWN917Y for NCP Mode: The module handles communication functions while external MCUs run the applications.
